This challenge of "Homegrown Summer" comes from Simon Says Stampings Monday Challenge. I always think of BBQs during the summer so I picked a 50s image of that.

🌀 First I glued my image in place.

🌀 Then I picked 5 colors I wanted for my border.

🌀 I applied the paint around my image by using my pinky finger.

🌀 I had some BBQ embellishments so I used those.

🌀 To cover the little holes on the sides of my embellishments, I put little sequin stars on them.

🌀 I thought it needed more stars, so I put on on all the green smudges.

🌀 I still thought it needed more, so I stamped my page with clear ink and sprinkled it with ultra thick clear embossing powder.

🌀 After I shot it with my heat gun, I liked the way it came out.

Have a good rest of your summer!
