This challenge comes from the 2 Crafty Girls blog. They use what they call a challenge board. Here it is:

I really wanted to do this challenge because they challenged me with a few things but also left the door open. I also had been wanting to do a challenge with a sketch because they're generally for card making, and I thought it would be fun to try it out in my art journal.
🌀 First, I sprayed my page with spray ink.
🌀 When it was dry, I stamped it with metallic paint using a background stamp. You can't really see what it is. And even though I made it yesterday, I honestly can't even remember what stamp it was either. Ah well.
🌀The sketch in the challenge said to put six "something's" in rows of three at the top. And since I decided to give my page a musical theme, I picked eighth notes. Since the challenge also said to use colored pencils, I chose those to draw them with.
🌀 The sketch also indicated there to be some banner or something at the bottom, so I chose the bar of music. I just so happened to have that sticker.
🌀 Next I put those rhinestone strings in place.
🌀 At this point, I wasn't sure what to do. Since this was in an art journal, I decided to get out my paint brush and wing it. I painted the notes at the top and everywhere else you see black paint.
🌀 Lastly, I added the rhinestones and dots to the piece. So I will admit, it's not my best work. But I had a good time
making it. And that's all that matters, right?
